In 2007 we launched our Octane Orthobiologics venture to develop our tissue engineering innovations using Cocoon, Octane’s patient-scale automated production system for tissue and cell therapy. The result: customized living-tissue implants that target restoration of biological function where bone, cartilage and other connective tissues self-repair and heal completely.

Today, thanks to the Cocoon automation platform, process scale-up efficiencies are finally possible for the routine manufacturing of living tissue implants
